Karen Hastings provides top-level oboe performance and private instruction. Handmade oboe reeds also available to students and non-students.

Lessons are taught in South Jordan,UT and select times in Bountiful, UT.
All ages and abilities are welcome.

Credentials
BMus, University of Utah - Studied with Robert Stephenson, Principal (emeritus), Utah Symphony
Active freelance performer and teacher since 2007. Performs with many local professional ensembles, including Chamber Orchestra Ogden, Orchestra at Temple Square, Wi-Five wind quintet, Beautiful Dreamer Trio and others. Karen is also a regular substitute in the Utah Symphony and Ballet West
Treasurer and Founding Board Member Utah Double Reed Society since 2016
